Malari is a small village near the Indo-Tibetan border . Malari has a hidden surrounding of extremely high cliffs around. The route of Malari is diverted from nearest city Joshimath which is perfect for enthusiastic motorcyclist. Life of this village is far than just peace and full day time with long sunsets. Whole Malari village is united in a small portion of a big mountain which can seen from first band from the village. The road to this part of India is totally dead end way to border of China and Tibbet. Tourist and civilians are not allowed to go beyond Malari(You can go at least upto Bampa Village 20KM ahead). Village Malari beautified with it’s big farm land cutted on mountains that we can’t expect over this height at all. This whole region fall under Great Nanda Devi Reserve Biosphere, which is heavily guarded with 10-12 feet of snow in winters. So if it’s summer you just need to get packed your back and reach here. The Local villagers are very kind and helpful. You could have much conversation with them once you reached. On the road you see the broken piece of Drona Giri Parwat which the Hanuman Ji lifted off for Sanjeevani. The gate of Temple “Maa Heeramani” is at the middle of village which can visiting by 20 min of quick walk. The famous attractions of this place is 1. Kunti Bhandar 6KM waking 2. Sirwar 21 KM walking 3. Choping 5KM 4. Gori Kund 8KM This village live for only 7-8 months of year. Even the villager left this village before winter and comes back again in summers. The route of Malari lies in way of Ancient silk route which was once the single route of India and China trade.
